Training curriculum on social media literacy and Internet safety for adult educators

The Training curriculum helps to identify and develop the competences needed to train adults on social media literacy and internet safety.

The IPAD Curriculum is an innovative training programme designed to equip adult educators with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to foster social media literacy and promote safe online practices. Structured around six comprehensive learning units, the curriculum addresses key topics such as critical media literacy, cybersecurity fundamentals, privacy and security settings, netiquette, and parental mediation.

Developed following European Qualification Framework (EQF) and ECVET guidelines, the curriculum provides clear learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and competences.

Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, and German, and tailored to adult educators working with families, the IPAD Curriculum supports educators in empowering adults and younger generations to navigate the digital world responsibly and effectively. It is an open educational resource, freely accessible to all users, fostering inclusivity and broader societal impact.
